Our Commitment
RedSquibble wants every reader to be able to find, read and share the authors we cover. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA across the site, and we treat accessibility as part of our editorial standards.
What We Have Done
- Every page uses real headings, landmarks and labeled navigation so screen readers can move through it easily
- Every photograph and book cover has descriptive text
- Text and interface colors are chosen for strong contrast
- Every link, button, menu and form can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline
- All form fields have labels and clear error messages
- The site works at any screen size and when text is enlarged up to 200 percent
- Animation is reduced automatically when your device asks for reduced motion
Known Limitations
Book covers and share images contain text that is part of the picture. We describe that text in the image description. Podcast episodes are being published with written episode notes, and full transcripts are being added.
